2007 Milo/Planet X Skateboarding Comp Under 14+16's

OK , I went to the Milo/PLanet X Skateboarding and BMX Competition in Melbourne today, it was for under 14's and under 16's.

They all look the same to me, tiny with unbelievable skills and huge egos!

These cocky little shits were not only kick ass skaters, they wore the tightest jeans and it seemed if you didn't wear Nike shoes...you suck. You got to love em...

It was a great day and there was free milo all day...yes free.

Licence to Drive

I got my Victoria drivers licence today. There not as good as W.A. ones,
there green? I would show you my photo but i dont have a scanner

Im dying to show you all pictures of the people in Braybrook, honestly its like walking into a zombie flick crossed with a Little Britain comedy clip.

They sell Alcohol in Coles too. Its a weird sight seeing people walk out of the meat section with a carton of beer on there shoulder or walking down an aisle and there is bottles of booze and a stack of VB at the end of it.

PAul.

The Hidden Valley

Kane and I went for a 3 minute drive and we came across this amazing valley.
The river is really big and full of wildlife. There is a new looking bike track that goes along the river...another reason to get a bike, so many bike tracks.

The few rains we had this week has made the grass around here go wild.
I've seen no sand in Melbourne...its all clay. Slippery shit.

Kane says there is a huge Buddhist Temple up on the hill, might go take some photos soon.

Oh yeah, All's well and good here, sure its cold enough to throw away your fridge but its also hot, windy, clam, sunny and rainy all in the same day.

Till next time,

Paul.

Test Drive to St.Kilda

Today I tested out my new car and drove to St.Kilda.
It went really well and the sunday the markets were on.

Just when I thought I had seen it all...melbourne gets bigger and bigger.
There is so much to see and do in this area St.Kilda, Prahan, Windsor...Chapel St.

Take you a few days to go shopping here and get a good look around.

But if you want to eat along the cafe strip dont go to St.Kilda unless you are made of gold.
I had my first $5 Pastie today ( not that i would spend that much on a pastie , there was no prices)...and it was plain as well.

But a cool place to visit...I'll be back.

I bought a Nissan Pulsar today

NISSAN PULSAR 1991 5-Door Hatch

Only 130,000 km !
Only $800 Awesome!

Just bought this Nissan today, very happy. Not much wrong with it other than a slippery 2nd gear, drives like new though, smells like a new car, motor is spotless and so is the interior.

No rust at all other than the front fender that has a dent, I'll replace it.
White paint on front bumper chipped off, need to paint that.

Things I will do to it- remove the gay "Sport" stickers, new rims or remove the tacky ones on now, touch up paint here and there, lower it , fluro lights under the doors , satellite dish, Nismo stickers, exhaust the size of a 24 gallon drum, Nitro, parachute and heaps of toys on the dash....maybe just a few of these things.

Only 130,000 km !
Only $800 crazy town!

Metal giants and stuff around my place

I had to go to a place called Sunshine to get my drivers license changed to victorian so I could buy a car. Sunshine is named that way because is sucks balls.
There is nothing shiny or sunny about the place, everyone is either broke, thieves, bums, thugs, BMX bandits, junkie bag ladies, freshly out of jail or a combination of all the above.
I got to go back next week....cant wait.

At least I get to see the Giant Chrome Wrestler out the front, cant help but smile cause it just so stupid :D

Some Street Art

Just walked around Fitzroy/ Carlton alley ways for a bit today, So much artwork, tags, paste-ups, amazing wall pieces and usual crap graffiti in between.
I spent most of the day looking round, I could probably look all week and only seen a part of the extensive street art here. Got to get a bike!

As fas as the ikin see

Spent the day walking round Melbourne City, the place is endless, but I'm finding my way round o.k. Went to a restaurant today that served your meals in hot ceramic bowls, your food cooks as you eat it.

Sooo much graffiti, paste-ups and messy tags.
Heaps of amazing pieces on the train line but going to fast to take pictures of it.

Magazine world

I found a cool magazine store that just sell's....magazines!
But allot are imported, its 2 stories high and you can read for as long as you want,
and drink coffee.
Semi-Permanent 07 book is only $35...nice.

Shops and Shops

You can walk and walk and walk, the shopping is endless here, and there is a shop for everything. The Shoelace Shop, the Hair Brush Shop, the Hats for old italian men Shop.

Another Church...

Churches, Skyscrapers and Japanese P-Platers driving elite drift machines.

Japanese Anyone?

Melbourne is really good for food lovers like myself. I just got to find the good ones.
Lots of amazing Japanese restaurants, like the one Kane and I are at. Free tea and big meals...Yumo Hirozama!
